Dark Florals to Pretty Pleats

Hello Friends,

Hope you guys have liked my last blog. As I have mentioned earlier, i had a long stay in India. wherein i had a lot of time to explore new things. Being a shopaholic i went crazy shopping online. I started shopping with a newly launched site Voonik. I had a terrible experience with them. But then i haven’t given up. After consulting with friends i tried to shop at Myntra, which got my confidence back. It’s an addiction which is very difficult to overcome. So many brands, styles, clothes, accessories , bag all on your phone. That to on great bargains.  I bet even you can’t resist. For a time being my house became a trial room, reason being they all had a very convenient exchange policy. As a shopping tip always opt for a COD – cash on delivery option. So that your money wont get blogged for a weeks time. I will soon be blogging on online shopping tips.

Lets get back to my outfit details. Which is again a result of online shopping back home.

Bought this pretty pleated dark floral skirt from Myntra.com. Which is the most popular shopping site for latest fashion trends in India. It’s a Navy Blue base color with white floral print. At the first go itself I have fallen for it. As i don’t have a thin waist line. I always prefer to go for a pleated or a flair skirt. It just gives me the best fit. Never go with what looks good to your eyes. I always believe in trying and seeing if it looks good on me. After i have bought this skirt, the but obvious combination i could think was to team it up with a plain white top. Which would be so boring for me. Then i decided to pair it with a nautical stripes top from Zara basics. Which made this outfit look so apt and innovative too. It’s just about taking risk when you mix prints. But then taking risk was worth it. To keep it simple i teamed this outfit with a chocker from the 90’s trend. And a high heels navy shoes. I wore this outfit for a coffee date with huby over the weekend. We went to newly launched Bateel Cafe at Almouj.

I think I have said enough for now. Now you see and decide what you think of my styled outfit.

Outfit deets :-

Take care guys. I  will be back soon with something new soon.
